Volunteers are needed on campus every day and all of our PTSA Committees are run by volunteers. Here’s how to get started !
To Volunteer on Campus Before your first shift, you must have an approved background check through VOLY (AISD’s volunteer account system). This is an AISD requirement for all volunteers who will be in contact with students, and the process only takes a few minutes. Please remember that you must complete this every year.

VALENTINE’S ACTIVITIES DONATIONS Week of Jan 26-30th
Our Valentine’s celebrations are coming up! We’ll be hosting a Valentine’s Dance and selling Candygrams as fundraisers for 8th and 6th grade initiatives, and we’re asking for donations to support these events. Families can sign up on SignUpGenius to donate specific items, with select items also available on the Amazon wish lists below. Donations may be dropped off at the school office January 26–30. Thank you for your continued support!

Estaremos organizando un Baile de San Valentín y vendiendo Candygrams como recaudaciones de fondos para apoyar las actividades de 8.º y 6.º grado, y estamos solicitando donaciones para que estos eventos sean un éxito. FALCON SHOWROOM MOVING DAY Satuday, Feb 07, 10 am – 4 pm
The Falcon Showroom is getting an updgrade! We’re moving to a larger room and need volunteers to help organization, sort clothing and accessories donations, and set up the new room. Students also welcome to help, and it can count towards service hours.
¡El Falcon Showroom está creciendo! Nos mudamos a un espacio más grande y necesitamos ayuda para organizar, clasificar ropa y accesorios donados, y dejar listo el nuevo salón. Los estudianted tambien pueden ayudar, y pueden recibir horas de servicio a la comunidad.

FALCON STORE Fridays during lunch
Come volunteer in the Falcon Store to help students redeem Falcon Bucks during their scheduled lunchtime for various ‘prizes’. A redemption sheet and instructions will be provided. NEW – Spring Semester sign ups are now live!!

FALCON SHOWROOM Monday & Tuesdays 4 – 5 pm (after school)
The Falcon Showroom collects gently used and new clothing and shoes for our students. Volunteers are needed to sort through donations and help organize the showroom. Anyone can show up to help, and students can earn their service hours. There is no need to sign up ahead of time!!!
El Falcon Showroom recolecta ropa y zapatos nuevos o en buen estado para nuestros estudiantes. Se necesitan voluntarios para clasificar las donaciones y ayudar a organizar el showroom. Cualquiera puede venir a ayudar, y los estudiantes pueden ganar horas de servicio. ¡No es necesario registrarse con anticipación!

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY ASSESMENT COMMITTEE (LPAC) ongoing
The LAPC serves Lively’s Emergent Bilingual Students, conducting periodic short meetings to go over how to best support student’s language journey, and require a parent to be present. LAPC meetings are dispersed throughout the year, and the schedule is flexible depending on availability. Need about 3-4 volunteers.

El Comité LAPC apoya a los estudiantes bilingües emergentes de Lively, llevando a cabo reuniones breves y periódicas para revisar cómo apoyar el desarrollo del idioma de los estudiantes. Un padre o madre de familia debe estar presente. Las reuniones del LAPC se realizan a lo largo del año y el horario es flexible según la disponibilidad. Se necesitan entre 3 y 4 voluntarios.

Take a truck/van/large vehicle to the UT Surplus Property on Mondays. Lively has a list of furniture and items they’re looking for. If interested, please contact the PTSA at volunteer@livelymiddleschoolptsa.com
